Who’s the PeliKing?
Down here, the brown pelican is more than a state bird. He's a survivor. Nearly wiped off the coast, he came back stronger, and he's been holding court over the Gulf ever since. Sound familiar?
PeliKing is for the people who make this place what it is: crawfish-boil captains, second-line strutters, king-cake hunters, and everybody who rode out the storm and stayed.
